Hello Music-Scorers!
This week Anne has added five new arrangements of Benjamin Godard’s Suite de Trois Morceaux. As the name suggests the piece is split into three movements:
Allegretto – is a great favourite in the flute repertoire.
Idylle – is dreamy and nostalgic, and is demanding for both soloist and accompanist as it weaves through interesting modulations.
Valse – fiendishly difficult for the soloist and goes like the wind, but is marvellous to listen to.
If you’ve been following our Blog recently you will see that we have been adding arrangements from the first two movements for the past few weeks and the arrangements below are the first on our website for the third movement; Valse.
