This week Anne has created five arrangements of the action packed piece Ride of the Valkyries. One that many of us associate with Adventure films.

Brief Introduction
Ride of the Valkyries is one of Wagner’s best known pieces.
Valkyries are Nordic mythical handmaidens to the god Odin, who decide who should be heroes in battle.
Ride of the Valkyries is from Wagner’s opera Die Walküre and is at the beginning of act 3. Wagner wrote four opera’s making up his Der Ring des Nibelungen and Walküre was the second of these.
