Hello … we are experiencing more than our fair share of rain in the UK … thankfully the sun is shining this morning!

Traditional: Rising Sun
Voice & Piano – E Minor
This is a folk song which tells the story of a young man and the evils of gambling at The Rising Sun, a house of ill repute in New Orleans. It is thought to have been written by Georgia Turner and Bert Martin, however in 1964 Eric Burdon and The Animals recorded a version which made the song famous and the one that you are likely to be familiar with.
